Afro Fusion is a dynamic dance style that blends inspirations from across the African continent. The classes combine styles such as Coupé Décalé from Côte d'Ivoire, Naija Style from Nigeria, Ndombolo from DR Congo, Afrohouse and Kuduro from Angola, Amapiano from South Africa, Azonto from Ghana and many more. Sometimes elements from dancehall or hip-hop are also included.
Each lesson focuses on energy, rhythm and dance joy. The content varies depending on the instructor's background and interpretation — some dive into one style at a time, others blend multiple African dances in each class. The class is designed for children aged 7-10 years.
Seasons and prices:
Autumn season: September-December (weeks 36-49)
Spring season: January-May (weeks 3-17)
Registration fee: 775 kr. per season — the price is reduced gradually throughout the season.
