Afro Fusion [Open Level] at Islandsbrygge

Afro Fusion is a dance form that encompasses styles from across the African continent. Through classes with Nadine, you will learn the fundamental techniques behind various African dance styles such as Coupé Décalé, Naija Style, Ndombolo, Afrohouse, Kuduro, Amapiano and Azonto. The instruction may also include elements from Dancehall and Hip Hop.

Each month focuses on a new style from Africa. You work through step-by-step explanations, the history of the dance and choreography to gain a deeper understanding of the rhythms and techniques that underpin these styles. The class is open level, so there is room for different experience levels.

Practical information

• Season: September to May, some classes continue into June
