Afro Fusion at Islandsbrygge [Open Level]

Afro Fusion is a dance style that brings together expression from across the African continent. You'll learn basic steps from styles such as Coupé Décalé, Naija Style, Ndombolo, Afrohouse, Kuduro, Amapiano, Azonto and many more — sometimes blended with Dancehall or Hip Hop.

With instructor Nadine, you explore both the history behind the styles, the techniques in the steps, and a complete choreography, so you gain deeper insight into the rhythms that come from the continent. Each month focuses on one specific style.

Practical info: The season runs from September to May (some classes continue into June). You can sign up and stop whenever you wish. A free trial class is available as long as spaces remain. Monthly sign-up fee is 300 kr., with 30% discount on additional classes.
