A full-day practical workshop for experienced developers and leaders working with AI coding agents. Learn how to structure your repository, document your team's practices and ensure agents follow your standards and security rules.
The workshop focuses on context engineering: how you write down your team's best practices, version them and implement automated controls that agents cannot bypass. Each exercise integrates security from the start—it is not a separate module.
Learning Outcomes
- Structure your repository so agents find what they need
- Document team decisions and conventions as context agents actually use
- Package recurring work as skills and verify the agent uses them
- Implement automated checks agents cannot skip
- Limit what agents can access to keep mistakes small
Agenda
- 09:00 – Welcome and the problem
- 10:10 – Hands-on block 1: agent context and instructions
- 13:00 – Hands-on block 2: rules, checks and feature building
- 15:00 – Demo, peer discussion and Q&A
The day is entirely hands-on; you work with code and can work in pairs or alone. You keep all material after the workshop.
