Alberte Winding is a singer-songwriter and author whose work touches people deeply. Her song "Lyse nætter" was named Denmark's favourite song in 2026 – a clear testament to her ability to strike a fundamental human chord. The same applies to her literary work, which since her debut in 2008 with "Tisvilde Strand" has included titles such as "Kastevind", "Småt brændbart" and "Hvad jeg tænker mens du taler".
Her latest novel "En sang man kan græde til" (2025) tells the story of Saskia, who travels to New York to carry out a sound art project – but in reality she is seeking to escape from herself and her sorrows. The novel explores how to move forward when the past still catches up with you.
At the event, Alberte Winding will be interviewed by literature facilitator Lea Fløe Christensen. The conversation will cover vulnerability, motherhood, the feeling of being lost, and Alberte Winding's artistic work – her relationship with writing and with language itself. It will be an intimate and moving evening.
