Experience live jazz at Søhesten with Alfred Ocansey Quartet, a fresh ensemble of four talented musicians from the Danish jazz scene. The band blends swinging original compositions with classic jazz standards in a vibrant and personal approach, with all four members contributing creative input.
The music moves between swing, postbop and Latin with lyrical melodies, harmonic complexity and Nordic sentiment. Alfred Ocansey, a young and already recognised jazz pianist, recently won the title "Young Fynen Jazz Talent 2025" and has performed on TV2's music programme Piano. This evening, the band presents a mix of well-known standards and Alfred's own compositions.
