Afc Ørestaden Spartans is launching a new American football junior division for the U16 category. The coaching staff consists of experienced instructors with youth championship titles under their belts. The sport emphasizes teamwork and strategy – the best teams are not those with the strongest individual players, but those who play together as a unit.
American football is open to all, regardless of size, athletic ability, and talent. Equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads can be borrowed initially. Football boots are not mandatory but are an advantage during grass practice. Mouthguards are sold by the club for 20 kr.
Training Times
- Winter (November–March): Tuesday 18:00–19:30 and Sunday 15:00–17:00 (indoors/outdoors)
- Summer (April–October): Tuesday and Thursday (outdoors)
- Matches take place on weekends, season April–October
