Experience a specially designed baby concert from Musiksanseriet, created for the youngest listeners – babies aged 2–12 months. This approximately 45-minute performance is built on the principle that music, sensory experience, and motor development are deeply intertwined for small children. When the senses are activated alongside the music, your child's development in motor skills, language, and cognition receives optimal conditions.
The concert features a blend of baby blues, charming melodies, and upbeat dance hits, performed with Malene Kjærgård's warm voice and Calle Brickman's thoughtful playing on the grand piano. The room fills with presence and musical magic, and the floor welcomes you and your baby to sit on your own blanket or quilt, sing, dance, explore sensory play with scarves and rattles, and enjoy it all together.
Musiksanseriet is an award-winning project – including the Danish Music Awards Jazz "Children's Jazz Prize" in 2023 – and Malene Kjærgård was nominated the same year for the Carl Prize as "Composer of the Year – Children's Music." The project encompasses four albums and a Christmas EP with over 10 million streams, numerous concerts across the country, and a growing audience on social media.
