Baking Workshop for Children – Sourdough Rolls with Breadcrumbs

A fun baking workshop for children as part of Nørrebro Library's theme day about food and nutrition. You will be introduced to sourdough rolls by master baker Thomas from Flok Nørrebro, who has baked over 10,000 rolls and now shares his passion for sourdough with children.

In the workshop, you will work with dough that is already mixed and contains breadcrumbs. It is about recycling and giving old breadcrumbs a new life – they become delicious sourdough rolls that you bake and then take home.

The workshop lasts approximately 25 minutes. Four identical sessions are held throughout the day:

• 13:30

Each session accommodates a maximum of 10 children. There is no booking required – just come along, and if there is no space at that time, you can wait and browse the library's collections while waiting for the next group.
