Lundehus Basketball is one of Denmark's fastest-growing clubs with a particular focus on girls' basketball. The club was named "Copenhagen's Sports Association of the Year 2025" and has 52% female members.
This team is relatively experienced and is aimed at girls with basketball experience or previous experience with other ball sports such as football or handball. The team has won the Gothenburg Basketball Festival and qualified for the Nordic Championships (Scania Cup). Friendship and personal development are at the center, both for the team as a whole and for the individual player.
Training takes place 2-3 times a week: Mondays 4:30 PM–6:00 PM at Tagensbo School, Wednesdays 7:00 PM–8:15 PM at Alliance Training in Gladsaxe, and Thursdays 5:00 PM–6:30 PM at Lundehus Hall. You get the opportunity to participate in a free trial session without enrollment obligation.
Bring indoor shoes or clean sneakers, training clothes, and a drink bottle. The club offers contingency support for financially strained members and has a "Friendship Guarantee" – if you haven't made at least 3 new friends after 3 training sessions, you get all your money back.
