Author Cecilie Lind visits Kulturpavillonen to present her latest novel Bristefærdig, an intense story about love, truth and motherhood. Through conversation, the novel's central themes – loving the monstrous, fighting to the death for one's beliefs – and the creative process behind the work will be explored.
Cecilie Lind debuted in 2010 and has since published several acclaimed works, including Pigedyr (2022), which received the Critic Prize and was nominated for several major Danish literary awards. Pigedyr has been adapted as a theatre piece and is in development as a film. Bristefærdig (March 2025) is now nominated for the Politiken Literary Prize 2025.
The event takes place on the first floor of Herkules Pavillonen and is hosted by Kulturpavillonen, an intimate cultural community dedicated to contemplation and cultural experiences in the heart of Kongens Have.
