Ukrainian writer, translator, researcher and serviceman Ostap Ukrainets joins the book club "Coffee with Malanchuk" to discuss his book "Aino Aitoqe" ("The Stuff of Childhood").
Through the stories of five children from different regions of Ukraine at the end of the 19th century, the book opens a window into childhood, everyday life and the historical realities of that era. During the event, we will discuss the work, the world it reconstructs, and how our understanding of childhood changes between past and present.
