Sound, music and imagination come together at Børnekulturhus Ama'r for a day filled with sensory experiences. The visit combines open sound installations with guided musical activities designed specifically for children.
Program
- Sensorisk Verden: Sworld Excursions (45 min, ages 8–12) – Guided sound walk with wireless headphones, where children embark on a sensory journey through the house and surroundings, encountering music, voices and stories woven together with the place's own sounds. Maximum 25 participants per group.
- Cake of Day: Where There Are Birds (30 min, ages 4–10) – Children and parents are invited into a fantastical bird world. Together we create a sound universe of birdsong, bird calls and dream-bird sounds, inspired by French composer Olivier Messiaen's musical explorations of free birds, caged birds, solitary and communal birds.
- Eva Fock: We Build a Sound Wall – Open workshop for all ages, where participants work together to create music and sound.
Practical Information
Sound installations in the house are open and free all day. Access to the music activities requires a ticket (40 DKK, purchased at the door). The event is a collaboration between Klang Festival and Børnekulturhus Ama'r, supported by Amager Øst Lokaludvalg.
