What defines Nordic architecture in Ørestad? On this walk, we explore how the neighbourhood has developed its own architectural identity, and how urban planning and buildings influence our daily lives and opportunities for living together.
Mira M. Cordsen – speaker, urban life consultant and local resident – guides us through her own neighbourhood. We see a round building, a patchwork structure, a sound-filled building, a building with a green roof, a community with 17 different ways of living, and a major development by the Kalvebod Fælled nature park. Along the way, we discuss how new Nordic narratives are evolving through architecture and urban culture – particularly in such an internationally influenced area as Ørestad.
