C.M.H Trio feat. Baptiste Herbin – Live Jazz at Søhesten

Award-winning Danish jazz musicians bassist Lasse Mørck and guitarist Casper Christensen present an exciting collaboration with French saxophonist Baptiste Herbin. The quartet is completed by drummer Henrik Holst Hansen.

Baptiste Herbin (born 1987) is one of Europe's most virtuoso saxophonists. He studied at the National Conservatory in Paris, performed with artists such as Charles Aznavour, and received the prestigious Django Reinhardt Prize in 2018. Mørck has won the Jazznyt Prize and Young Jazz Composer of the Year, known for his big sound and rhythmic drive. Christensen is established as one of Denmark's most sought-after jazz guitarists with his characteristic warm tone and melodic improvisations.

Musically, the group moves in an acoustic, playful universe inspired by French gypsy jazz, Brazilian choro, and modern jazz traditions. The concert promises an evening full of spontaneity and musical joy.
