Learn Brazilian martial arts in a playful, movement-focused session designed for the youngest. Children experience the joy of physical activity through play, movement and dance – we jump, run, spin and move like animals, while learning about capoeira, Brazilian rhythms, singing and community.
The accompanying adult participates actively and serves as a role model for the child, creating both fun and presence in everyday life. If practical, the adult can vary, but we recommend no more than 2 people for best results. Mestra Vida, who leads the training, is Northern Europe's first female master in capoeira and trains under Capoeira Group Senzala led by Mestre Rui from Rio de Janeiro.
The season runs from September to June, and new students are welcome throughout the year. Arrive in clothes you can move freely in and bring a water bottle – we take care of the rest.
