Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines explosive kicks, impressive acrobatics, music and dance. Training includes combat techniques, acrobatic elements and the cultural universe surrounding the discipline, where song and music play a central role.
The group is open to both beginners and experienced practitioners – the trainer adapts exercises based on age and level, so everyone gets the most out of it. A strong community is created where you train, sweat and laugh together, and many stay after training to practice more. The season runs from September to June, and new students are welcome throughout the year.
Mestre Rui, a Brazilian, leads the training with Capoeira Senzala Amager, which is part of Capoeira Gruppen Senzala.
