Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art featuring dynamic kicks, impressive acrobatics, captivating rhythms, and intense energy. You will learn combat techniques, acrobatic movements, and cultural elements while music and singing play central roles in training.
The group welcomes both beginners and experienced practitioners, and the instructor tailors exercises to suit age and skill level. Training is community-focused – you become part of an environment where people train together, have fun, and share a passion for capoeira.
Mestre Dourado, who leads this group, has practiced capoeira for nearly 30 years and is one of the few capoeira masters in Denmark. The group is affiliated with Capoeira Senzala, an organization led by Mestre Rui from Brazil.
The season runs from September to June, and new students can join throughout the year. You can attend a free trial session – introduce yourself to the instructor when you arrive.
Practical: Bring workout clothes that allow freedom of movement and a water bottle.
