Experience Danish saxophonist and composer Cecilie Strange in an intimate jazz concert at Paradise Jazz. Strange is known for her characteristic deep and warm tenor saxophone sound and atmospheric musical universe. For this evening, her quartet presents works from her five releases as well as exclusive previews of the upcoming sixth album, set to be released in spring 2027.

Cecilie Strange is a graduate of the South Danish Music Conservatory in Odense with a master's degree in saxophone and composition. Her album BEYOND received the Jazz Recording of the Year award at the Presto Music Awards in the United Kingdom in 2023 and was nominated that same year for Album of the Year in Jazz at the Danish Music Awards. Strange herself was nominated as Jazz Composer of the Year. She has collaborated with musicians including Mikkel Hess, Josefine Cronholm, Makiko Hirabayashi, Kasper Tranberg, Nikolaj Hess, and Emil de Waal. DownBeat Magazine has praised her full tenor saxophone sound and the tight interplay with her quartet.

The concert takes place at Paradise Jazz. Doors open half an hour before the performance. Arriving in good time is recommended to secure a seat. Tickets are purchased on-site.
