Christina Dahl Quartet brings together four distinctive musicians in an open and vibrant interplay based on Christina Dahl's compositions. Here, the written and the improvised merge into a sound world marked by presence, spontaneity, immersion, and strong mutual listening. The music holds both reflection, intensity, poetry, and raw energy, and the four musicians take turns stepping forward as soloists without losing sight of the whole.
In 2024, Christina Dahl was honored with the award "Årets Inspirator" by Beckett-Fonden at Tivoli Jazz Pris - JazzDanmark. Line up: Christina Dahl, Saxofon og komposition, Nicklas Knudsen, guitar, Nils Davidsen, bass, Espen Laub, trommer. The concert takes place at Kvarterhuset Amagerbro. Entré: 80 kr.
