Dark Sweet Syrup is an English-language stand-up show in which Dan Belkin combines polite Canadian charm with dark and twisted thoughts on politics, the economy, growing up in an immigrant household, and living abroad. The show balances reflection with sharp comedy and finds humor in the darker side of life.
Dan Belkin grew up in Canada in a post-Soviet immigrant household, which shapes a style described as “polite man has many intrusive thoughts”. He has been featured on Canada Laughs on Sirius XM, RTL TV, and Red Mic, and has headlined the American Comedy Tour in Switzerland.
