A festive and imaginative musical performance based on Denmark's favorite songbook, where characters from The Little Ones Sing come to life on the stage of the Royal Theatre. The production follows the boy Emil, who falls asleep and awakes in a magical dreamland where he meets the girl Liva and a wealth of iconic figures – from Ole and his automobile to the baker on Nørregade, ten little cyclists, a gnome, kittens, hares and many more.
This sparkling story is created by director Stine Schrøder Jensen under the musical direction of Laus Høybye. It is a true family performance that appeals to little brother, older sister, father, mother and grandparents alike – a celebration of characters that generations of Danish children have grown up with, fallen asleep to and learned to play instruments after.
Practical information: Admission 125–315 kr. Performed on the Main Stage, the Royal Theatre – the Playhouse.
