How can democracies protect themselves against disinformation, foreign interference and information manipulation? Ukraine House in Denmark invites you to an open event with WatchDog.MD, a Chisinau-based think tank working to strengthen democratic resilience and counter foreign information manipulation and interference.
Drawing on experiences from Moldova and the Eastern Partnership, the event will explore how foreign information manipulation operates, how it influences public opinion and democratic processes, and what tools exist to identify and counter it. WatchDog.MD shares practical insights from work in media monitoring, social media, public opinion research, elections and media policy, and awareness campaigns.
The discussion offers an opportunity to understand the challenges posed by information manipulation and how governments, civil society, media and citizens can contribute to building more resilient democratic societies.
