Participate in a vital discussion about Danish political history and today's politics. It is 25 years since Anders Fogh Rasmussen formed the VK government following the 2001 election, and the bourgeois project left its mark on Danish politics. An allied coalition around values politics took power with the Danish People's Party as a steady supporter, and the period was called "the little system change" – far more comprehensive than many expected.
Culture and values questions became central. Immigration policy was tightened, and criticism of "experts" and "cultural radicals" became clear. Now, a quarter century later, the effects are still felt. Prospekt and Grundtvigsk Forum bring together a strong panel to explore what became of the bourgeois project and where Danish politics is heading next.
Panel
- Christian Egander Skov — historian and programme director at Prospekt, author of Bourgeois Crisis (2022) among others
