DSQ Festival returns after a year's hiatus with a fresh theme. This year's festival takes place aboard the historic cultural vessel M/F Gammelør, moored at the end of Christianshavn Canal. The festival brings together musicians and audiences around both artistic excellence and communal warmth.
Program
- Sonata for Violin and Cello by Maurice Ravel (1875-1937), 22 min.
- Folk Music from the Sea, arranged by Den Danske Strygekvartet, 15-20 min.
- Break
- "The Ship is Laden with...." — fictional narrative performance approx. 60 min., created by Katja Lange and directed by Kasper Sørensen. The performance draws on concrete events and the current migration situation, addressing significant human and political questions without providing easy answers.
