You Are Born Alone is a performance about Philip, who is dead, and the people he leaves behind: family, friends, and former colleagues, each trying to explain what happened. With a will at the center, the piece moves between dark comedy, absurdity, and seriousness while raising questions about empathy, responsibility, psychological vulnerability, and how we respond to people who fall outside the community.
The performance is created by ARBEJDSTITEL, a newly established interdisciplinary performing arts collective of young artists. It combines new Danish drama, original music, and an alternative audience format. Running time is approx. 1 hour, the performance starts at 19.30, and doors open at 18.30. Snacks and drinks can be purchased at the bar. Venue: Kulturhuset Krudttønden. Admission: 80 kr. Trigger warning: The performance revolves around sensitive topics such as suicide.
