Discover some of nature's most fascinating mysteries when children's author and biologist Line Friis Frederiksen takes children and adults on an exciting journey through the animal kingdom. From the curious toilet habits of wombats to the secrets behind the bizarre appearance of deep-sea fish – and yes, crocodiles once actually lived in Greenland!
Line tells fantastic stories based on her book Real, Wild Stories from Around the World, featuring topics ranging from carnivorous plants and giant dinosaurs that once roamed Danish land, to snails that shoot with harpoons. After the presentation, children can explore a collection of impressive skulls and jaws from the Natural History Museum – and test their courage by putting their heads inside a crocodile's mouth!
Line is a biologist, children's author and member of the Female Adventurers' Club. She has slept in a hammock in the Amazon, caught exotic fish and gone mountain climbing in Alaska. Her mission is to make children curious, brave and smarter about our wonderful world.
