Attend an information meeting about the autumn relative support groups facilitated by psychotherapist Lene Essenbæk Karlsson. Here you will have the opportunity to learn more about the groups' content and decide if it is right for you.
The meeting gives you a chance to meet other relatives in similar situations. As a relative, it can be isolating and stressful to navigate daily life. In the group, you will find understanding, practical tools, and community. The goal is to help you live your own life while taking responsibility for your loved ones — including managing guilt and worry and achieving better balance.
The groups work with cognitive therapy, positive psychology, mindfulness, metacognitive therapy, and choice therapy. Groups consist of 8–10 participants who meet 9 times after the introduction meeting. Each session lasts two hours. Groups start in week 43 with the following times:
- Tuesday 16.15–18.15 (Parents)
- Tuesday 18.45–20.45 (All relationships)
- Wednesday 16.15–18.15 (Partners)
- Wednesday 18.45–20.45 (All relationships)
You can sign up for a group at the end of the introduction meeting. Better Psychiatry Copenhagen's relative support groups are supported by the Tryg Foundation.
