EMH is a free improvisation group based in Copenhagen featuring three musical fighters: Norwegian trumpeter Erik Kimestad, Swedish guitarist Henrik Olsson and Brazilian vocalist Marcela Lucatelli. The concert unfolds as intense, dense and raw sound collisions, where the three musicians operate at the intersection of signification and sensation.
Marcela Lucatelli, one of her generation's most innovative singers and composers, delivers wordless stories charged with sensuality and ecstatic energy. Kimestad and Olsson uproot her sonic universe and drag it into even more chaotic and absurdist territories. The result is an artistic aesthetic that is both brutal and poetic, unpredictable and fearless – nothing is obvious, everything must be redefined in the moment.
Admission: 100 kr. Venue: Cap30.
