Actor Søren Hellerup returns to Copenhagen with John Clancy's monologue A PERFORMANCE. After more than four decades performing internationally in New York, Los Angeles and Portugal, he brings this production to Danish stages.

Hellerup received major acclaim in 2023 for his role as father Ole in Isabella Eklöf's film adaptation of Kim Leine's Kalak – his first Danish film role in 38 years. A PERFORMANCE has previously played to sold-out houses in Portugal and is now presented for the first time in Danish. The performance explores themes of presence, identity and being on stage, posing the central question: What is theatre?
