A remarkable folk music evening featuring over 20 Danish musicians gathering to create light and warmth on a dark November evening. The event takes place at Metronomen in Frederiksberg on Monday, 23 November 2026 at 7:30 pm.
The evening presents a curated blend of traditional and contemporary Danish folk music with violin, vocals, clarinet, accordion, guitar and other instruments. Among the artists you will find Poul Lendal, Seamus Cahill, Ginnunga, Ragna, Morten Alfred & Vingården, Ida Thorbjørn Andersen, Iltsvind, Forvandlingen with Jeppe Brixvold and Kristian Bugge, as well as Mads Hansens Kapel.
The programme consists of two sessions of 50 minutes each with an interval in between. Only 80 guests can attend. All proceeds are donated to the independent radio station and media platform radiofolk.dk.
Tickets: 200 DKK + any fees per ticket.
