This professional day explores the relationship between performing arts and natural science in educational contexts. Through workshops, presentations and dialogue, nature guides, cultural consultants, educators, teachers, pedagogues and artists meet to discuss how art and science can enrich each other.
The day opens with Wunschmachine's walking performance Bevinget – a magical theatre play about birds on the beach. This is followed by a presentation from researcher Katrine Bergkvist Borch (SDU/FNUG) on natural science education, practical workshops with performing artist and nature guide Dorte Abrahamsen and Aska Ono Bjerresø from Naturcenter Amager Strand, and a subsequent dialogue among all speakers. The day concludes with an optional communal dinner at Sundby Sejl.
