BRØKs Billedværksted invites you to a Saturday of linocut printmaking, where visual artist Delphine Flyvehavn Andersen introduces the reduction method for beginners and slightly experienced participants. You will work with a single plate that is carved further in several stages, so each color is printed layer by layer on the workshop's new relief printing press. Pablo Picasso is one of the artists known for using this technique.
The ticket price is 325 kr. and includes two pieces of A5 linoleum, ten sheets of A4 printing paper, and printing ink for ten prints. Extra materials can be purchased on the day, and the workshop provides linoleum knives, pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners. You are welcome to bring an A4 sketchbook as well as sketches, photos, or other material for inspiration. It is also recommended to bring work clothes, such as an apron or a smock. You may bring your own lunch or buy it in BRØKs café.
