Fenris is an artistic interpretation across multiple disciplines, drawing from the mythological tale of the Fenrir wolf. The work explores the battle between chaos and order – a conflict reflecting our contemporary era with the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) in both artistic and work-related contexts.
Dancer and choreographer Dud Muurmand from Denmark and musician Marko Hautamäki from Finland have created the work during an artist residency at Warehouse9's Qlab. Fenris premieres at the alternative culture festival Uma Obscura in Umeå, Sweden. In collaboration with Warehouse9, the artists invite you into their workspace for two evenings featuring a workshop, work-in-progress showing, and artist talk.
Date and time: 22 October 2026, 6pm–8:30pm
