Fiola

Fiola invites you on a musical expedition through cinema's most iconic masterpieces. Featuring celebrated themes and melodies from different eras of film history, the audience is invited to guess the origin of each number – which film, which composer, and when was it created?

Violinist Mette Smidl leads the project alongside saxophonist Betty Magnussen, guitarist Thomas Davidsen, and drummer Benita Haastrup. The ensemble presents some of cinema's greatest compositions – from The Godfather to The Lord of the Rings to Barndommens Gade – with artistic depth and musical confidence. Emphasizing presence and interaction with the audience, the four musicians create a concert experience that blends beauty, humor, and emotional engagement.
