Meet H.C. Andersen as an interactive talking statue in Kongens Have. From September 13th, you can scan a QR code with your phone, receive a call, and have an authentic conversation with the legendary Danish author using artificial intelligence. Ask him about his works, his life, or anything at all – he will answer everything.
This Danish cultural and artistic project originally started as the world's first talking statue back in 2013, invented by David Peter Fox. While the statue previously had a fixed voice, from this date it is equipped with AI technology, making the meeting entirely unique and personal. Copenhagen Municipality has granted permission to test this groundbreaking development for two weeks as a pilot. The experience is completely free to participate in.
