Join a 90-minute rap workshop at Kulturhuset Krudttønden, where children are the stars and adults are backup rappers! You can participate as one adult and one child or come as a small family crew.
Together with rapper and songwriter Carlos aka Mund de Carlo, you will dive into fun exercises with rhymes, flow, and freestyle rap. You will experiment with words, lay words over dope beats, and develop your own rap style. As inspiration, we bring children's books, and Carlos demonstrates how characters, stories, and ideas can become rap. You can be inspired by the books or rap about what matters to you.
Afterwards, each crew creates their own rap verse over a fresh beat, which is recorded in our mobile studio. You get the track to take home as an audio file that you can share with friends and family. Finally, we turn on the stage lights, everyone grabs microphones, and you perform together as real rap stars.
Carlos has performed on some of the country's biggest stages and shares his best techniques so that everyone gets their rhymes right and flow running smoothly.
