Gain insight into the important first phase of reading and learn how to optimally support your child's reading development. Together with reading advisor, librarian and former Danish teacher Nanna Gregersen, you will explore reading start and the technical, educational and psychological aspects of reading training.
The event covers topics including:
- How you best support your child's reading
- The significance of LIX, LET-scores and phonetic awareness
- Establishing good reading environments at home
- Possibilities for reducing pressure on both child and parent
The event is aimed at parents with children in early school years, but also parents of older children with reading difficulties who seek extra support and guidance.
After the approximately 45-minute presentation, you will have the opportunity for personal assistance in selecting appropriate books for your specific child.
