Author Evening with Annette Bjergfeldt

An inspiring evening with author Annette Bjergfeldt, exploring her new novel Himlen over Kattesundet (Heaven Above the Sound of Cats). The novel tells the story of an eccentric inventor family in 1910 who miss the opportunity to secure the era's most significant patent. Through the tale of Sofia's love seismograph and her brother – a man obsessed with dreams of flight – Annette takes the audience on a journey full of failures and sudden moments of magic.

Annette Bjergfeldt is the author of works including Højsangen fra Palermovej (The Song of Heights from Palermo Street) and Mr. Saitos Rejsebiograf (Mr. Saito's Travel Biography). She has received international recognition – Grammy-nominated and translated into 27 languages – yet her path to success has also included less glorious moments, such as performing for a single audience member: a horse. From such disappointments and unexpected triumphs, she builds her perspective on life, art, and humanity.
