Meet four central voices in Danish literature for an inspiring evening of readings, storytelling and book recommendations. Malte Tellerup, Fine Gråbøl, Tom Silkeberg and Marie Bjørn open their artistic universes and share both excerpts from their own works and personal favorites from their recent reading.
Malte Tellerup, known for novels such as The Masters (2023) and the new poetry collection The Village Rebuilt (2025), explores the relationship between community, humanity and the earth. Fine Gråbøl, author of the musically-inspired Hundred Children (2024), writes personal and poetic literature full of depth. Tom Silkeberg, a dramatist affiliated with Betty Nansen Theatre, works with the possibilities of language through works such as Animal Farm and The Iliad. Marie Bjørn, award-winning dramatist, blends the personal with the mythical in works such as You Will Meet Another (2022).
