Meet author and debater Anna Juul at Brønshøj Library, where she presents her latest novel "Sød Tøs" (Sweet Girl). In this conversation with the library's literature curator Emma Kragh Mortensen, the book's central themes are explored: group dynamics among friends, the feeling of being trapped in a role you don't recognize yourself in, and the search for self-understanding. The novel examines how therapeutic language has become part of everyday social interactions, and sheds light on the paradox of being "the sweet one" in a group.
Anna Juul is the author of five books and known from the radio series "Den korte radioavis" (The Short Radio News) on Radio24syv and DR3, where she performs under the artist name Veronika Katinka. She is dedicated to breaking stigma around mental illness and works for better conditions within Danish psychiatry.
