Form and Storytelling – Ceramic Course with Rosamunde Brüsch and Camilla Thorup

Learn to create ceramic works that blend artistic expression with functional design. Over five weeks, you will craft cups, vases, and objects that carry your own stories—whether personal memories etched into the surface, political statements, or unexpected forms that balance between sculpture and functional ware.

Find inspiration in nature, things you love, pets, or people in your life. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you will develop your skills in hand-building, coiling, slab techniques, and modeling, while exploring texture, underglaze, and glaze. Your process can be planned from the outset or emerge organically as your hands engage with the material.

This course welcomes everyone—from complete beginners to experienced ceramicists curious about narrative techniques. With proper instruction, you'll find it easier than you expect.

• Price: 1500 DKK
• 5 Tuesdays: 3/11, 10/11, 17/11, 24/11, and 8/12, all 15:30–18:30 (final session is glazing)
• Location: BRØKs Keramikværksted, workshop room
• Max. 16 participants
• Each participant receives 2 kg of clay (paperclay not included)
• Additional clay available for purchase at the workshop
• Pickup arranged with course instructors
