This workshop explores the depths of shame and guilt, and clarifies the distinction between personal wrongdoing and core values. You will gain insight into the mechanisms of shame and learn practical strategies for self-compassion and personal growth based on psychologist Brené Brown's research.
The workshop focuses on four key elements: remaining authentic during shame experiences, navigating shame without compromising values, developing greater compassion and connection, and transforming shame into self-compassion. Shame is treated as a social wound requiring social healing – when met with empathy, shame diminishes and deeper human connection becomes possible.
You are invited on an inner journey toward self-acceptance and authenticity, where you will discover how empathy and understanding can lighten emotional burdens.
Practical: Bring a sarong if you have one (not for wearing, but part of the workshop). Start at 18:00 sharp. Metro station is just nearby – parking is not recommended. Entrance fee: 300 kr. Tickets are purchased/booked here.
