Naturalist and biologist Morten D.D. Hansen invites you out into nature to learn Danish bird species. Do you dream of being someone who recognizes birds by their calls and appearance – and wonder how to even start birdwatching in the city?
Based on his latest book Jeg ser på fugle (I Look at Birds), Morten shows us that there is an entire natural universe right outside your door – whether you live by the wetlands, in a river valley, in pristine forest, or plainly beside a motorway, in a park or in the heart of the city. Birds are everywhere, and this lecture is aimed at both beginners and experienced birdwatchers who want to deepen their knowledge.
The event is part of Copenhagen Public Libraries' festival Vild med videnskab (Wild about Science), which takes place in October and November with science communication for adults across the library's locations.
