Glawokl invites children and their adults to a legendary concert where Danish music meets samba, New Orleans tones and Nordic sounds. The musicians play with rhythms, words and rhymes, and the audience becomes part of the musical universe itself.
The band consists of Palle Klok, Christian Glass and Nikolaj Wolf, each bringing experience from theatre, children's music, samba, funk and folk. The concert is built around the play with language – originally inspired when Nikolaj Wolf began singing Halfdan Rasmussen's children's rhymes aloud to his daughter instead of reading them. Now language is a central part of the band's expression, where new words emerge and rhymes gain their own musical life.
During the concert there is room to sing, dance, listen and feel the music. The band approaches its repertoire with curiosity and pure joy of playing, so there is something to discover for both children and adults.
