Participate in a workshop where you learn the jigsaw method of linocut printing at BRØK's Print Studio. Under the guidance of visual artist Delphine Flyvehavn Andersen, you explore the possibilities of this classic graphic technique, famously used by artists such as Edvard Munch. During the workshop, you divide a linoleum block into "pieces", carve your design, and then print using the studio's modern letterpress.
The workshop begins with thorough instruction in the method, followed by hands-on practice under Delphine's guidance. Materials for your work are included in the fee: you receive two A5 pieces of linoleum, ten sheets of A4 printing paper, and ink for ten prints. Tools such as linoleum cutting knives, pencils, and erasers are provided. It is recommended to bring an A4 sketchbook, any sketches or inspiration photos, work clothes (apron or smock), and preferably sturdy scissors. You can purchase lunch at BRØK's café or bring your own food.
