About Morten Bille: Morten is an experienced and engaging storyteller in his fifties with a lifetime dedicated to travel. After receiving an interrail ticket for his confirmation, he travelled around Europe at age 15 on his own – an experience that launched a lifelong journey of exploration. He has developed a unique ability to find the compelling stories and unexpected angles that make travel experiences even more memorable. With a background in the Danish military, where he served for over 10 years including work for the UN, Morten combines historical interest, humour and joie de vivre in his presentations. His ability to connect with local communities across cultures – from Vietnamese kindergartens to Tibetan nursing homes – gives him an authentic and inspiring approach to travel storytelling.
