Join a historical cycling tour along Vestvolden in Husum. The tour explores Husumencienten and continues to the actual Vestvold with fortifications at Mørkhøjvej, including the Kaponiern, as well as Kagsmosen and further sections of the defensive structures. Along the way, you will learn the story of Vestvolden, its significance through the ages, and the traces of Copenhagen's former fortifications that are still visible in the landscape today.
The cycling tour lasts approximately two hours and takes place predominantly within the Brønshøj-Husum district. The tour is led by historian Morten Lunn, who is based in Husum and has arranged walking tours on Vestvolden for several years.
