Experience the exciting archaeological excavations in Hans Tavsens Park with the Copenhagen Museum. During the guided tour, you'll learn what archaeologists uncover beneath the ground – from insights into the lives of poor Copenhageners in the 1800s to genuine finds from the past.
The archaeologists will present their work and the finds they have made at the excavation site. You'll get up close to the work and hear directly from those who are digging.
Note: Real skeletons may be found during the excavations.
Hans Tavsens Park is being transformed into a cohesive green area with new nature experiences and will also serve as a collection point for cloudburst water to protect the area from future weather with heavier rainfall.
