Henning – Voices of the Street

Henning, who has been part of the drug culture on Vesterbro for many years, invites you on an open-hearted walk through his reality. He shares his story from the moment he started at age 14, through years of homelessness, and to today – where he still uses drugs, but also works to maintain contact with his daughter.

Along the way, you will visit harm reduction services such as the drug consumption room, which according to Henning's experience saves lives. He speaks openly about his experience with different drugs and methods of use, how years without a home have shaped him, and why his path out of addiction is not linear – but still worth taking.

This is a guided walk that opens the door to an environment many pass by – and provides insight into both the human behind the story and the actual support services on Vesterbro that make a difference.
